Saute is a service of Yakutsk Private Limited (CIN U52291KA2026PTC219166), registered at 235, Binnamangala, 13th Cross Road, Indiranagar 2nd Stage, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560038. “We”, “us” and “Saute” mean Yakutsk Private Limited. Your invoices and our app store listings carry that name.
These terms apply to the Saute apps, saute.one and our concierge service. You accept them when you create an account, ask us to plan or book anything, or pay us. How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy notice.
Customer care and complaints: hello@saute.one.
Booking: any travel service we arrange for you, such as a flight, stay, transfer, activity, table or ticket.
Supplier: the business that provides a Booking, such as an airline, hotel or operator, and any intermediary we book through. Suppliers are independent of us.
Concierge: our team that handles your requests, helped by Saute’s AI Concierge.
You must be 18 or over to use Saute. By creating an account, you confirm that you are.
You sign in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping it secure. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access. You may hold one account and may not transfer it.
The names, dates of birth and document numbers you give us must match each traveller’s passport or travel document exactly. If a Booking fails or must be reissued because details were wrong, you bear the cost. You may book for others only with their permission.
We plan trips and make Bookings for you with Suppliers. When we book, we act as your agent. We are not the Supplier and are not a party to your contract with it.
Each Booking is governed by the Supplier’s terms. If a Supplier fails to deliver, we will pursue it on your behalf and help you on the ground.
We book each part of your trip separately. We do not sell packaged tours.
5.1 Foreign exchange. Currency and forex cards are provided by a business authorised by the Reserve Bank of India. We connect you to it and may receive a referral fee from it. We do not buy or sell currency.
5.2 Travel insurance. Travel insurance is provided by an insurer or intermediary registered with the IRDAI. We connect you to it. We do not sell insurance, advise on cover, or earn commission on it.
5.3 Payments. Payments are processed by a regulated payment aggregator.
Each partner provides its service under its own licence and terms. We tell you which partner is providing what. What we share with partners is set out in our Privacy notice.
Every quote shows the total price, with all fees, taxes and statutory collections itemised. No mandatory charge is added at checkout.
Where we charge a service fee, it is shown in your quote. We may also earn commission or a margin from Suppliers, which is included in the prices we quote. The total in your quote is the full amount you pay.
A quote is not held until you pay and we confirm the Booking. If a Supplier’s price changes before then, we will tell you, and you may accept the new price or stop.
You pay in full before we book. We issue a tax invoice for every payment. No option is pre-selected, and nothing is added unless you choose it.
A Booking exists only once we confirm it and the Supplier has issued a reference or ticket number. A conversation with your Concierge, however detailed, is not a Booking.
GST applies as the law requires. Where the law requires tax collected at source (TCS) on overseas travel, we collect it and pay it to the government. It is credited to you, and you can claim it when you file your income tax return.
Your invoice shows every component separately and is the final record of what you paid.
Where a Supplier charges in a foreign currency, the rupee amount uses the exchange rate at booking. Your bank may add its own charges.
Ask your Concierge to change or cancel a Booking. If you go to the Supplier directly, we may not be able to help.
Refunds follow the Supplier’s rules for the fare or rate you booked. We tell you those rules before you pay, and again if you ask to cancel.
We charge a cancellation fee only when a Supplier charges us one, and we show you the amount first.
Our service fee pays for arranging the Booking. We refund it if we cancel or cannot deliver the Booking. We do not refund it if you cancel a confirmed Booking.
Refunds go to your original payment method. Timing depends on the Supplier. Airline refunds can take several weeks.
You are responsible for your passport, visas, entry permissions and health documents. We can advise you and help you apply, but entry rules are set by governments and can change without notice.
If an airline or immigration authority refuses you boarding or entry, that is not a failure of the Booking, and we do not owe a refund for it.
Your Concierge is our team, helped by Saute’s AI Concierge. A person on our team handles every price, Booking, change and payment, and you can ask for a person at any time. We aim to respond quickly, at any hour, and will tell you when something will take longer.
We may decline requests that are unlawful, unsafe or abusive, or that we cannot fulfil well.
The service is for personal travel. It is not a general assistant service. It may not be resold, used for a business, or shared beyond the people on your trip, unless we agree in writing.
Messages, files and images you send us remain yours. You permit us to store and use them to deliver your trip, and to share what a Supplier needs for a Booking.
Send only what you have the right to share. If you share a conversation with someone, you are responsible for what they see.
Our guides, writing, photographs, design and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not republish, resell or scrape them, or use them to build a competing product.
Do not use Saute unlawfully, harass our team or other users, access accounts or systems that are not yours, extract data at scale, or reverse engineer our apps.
You may delete your account at any time in the app or on our Delete your account page.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, puts others at risk, or where the law requires. We will tell you why unless the law prevents us. Bookings already made will stand, and we will refund anything we owe you.
We are responsible for our own service: planning, booking, and handling your money and data. We are not responsible for how a Supplier performs its service.
Our liability for any Booking is limited to the amount you paid us for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
These limits do not apply to death or personal injury caused by our negligence, to fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or where Indian law does not allow a limit. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Neither we nor our Suppliers are liable for failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, strikes, civil unrest, epidemics and pandemics, airspace or border closures, and government action. We will help rearrange affected plans. The Supplier’s rules decide what is refunded.
Write to hello@saute.one. Our Grievance Officer is Mohit Agarwal, Director, reachable at that address or at our registered office.
We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours with a reference number and resolve them within one month.
You may also contact the National Consumer Helpline on 1915 or 1800-11-4000, or file a complaint with a consumer commission through e-Jagriti, at any time.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and we will tell you about material changes.
These terms are governed by Indian law. The courts in Bangalore have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to your right to file a consumer complaint where you live or work. These terms are accepted electronically and need no signature.
